Who Am I?

Hello, my name is Clare, a Psychotherapist and Counsellor with many years of professional experience. 

Dedicated to a modern, progressive and collaborative approach to self-development and mental health, I am proactive in addressing your needs and desires for the future. 

I understand the importance of responsive and adaptable therapy. Together we will tailor your sessions to meet your needs so you feel supported in ways that work for you. I see individuals and also couples. 

If your goal is self-exploration, looking into trauma,  addiction, sexuality, low self-esteem, confusion, bereavement, difficult family dynamics,  relationship or work issues, I can support you with  robust knowledge of how to better manage challenging times.

*I trained for six years at a renowned institute for practice in ethical Psychotherapy and Counselling in Ealing.

 

*I've worked  for Kingston Bereavement Service for four years, during 2017-2021. 

 

* I have worked with an organisation in Ealing offering subsidised therapy.

 

* I also work for the government agency Victim Support.
 

 

I am friendly and focused and work well with people of all ages. I am  here for you. 

Even though much of what we will discuss is indeed of a serious nature, it is more than alright for us to laugh together if it feels right.

What are your triggers and how can we better manage them?  Our internal struggles may seep into our day to day lives and cause conflict at work or with our personal relationships and friendships. 

 

Together we can work on overcoming emotional obstacles so you are better able to nurture your emotional well-being and improve your interactions with people that matter.

We can have as many or as few sessions as you wish. Once we begin, I'm certain you will get a sense of what feels right for you.


Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is counselling on steroids.

 

 

 

 

It goes deeper into our inner workings and their origins, it usually goes on for longer periods of time than counselling.
 
 We look closely at how certain attitudes and behaviours influence us, consciously and out of consciousness, and which aspects could be modified to help you feel more fulfilled. 
With psychotherapy you embark on an immersive journey of self-discovery and personal, emotional growth. 

These sessions help you understand yourself with much more clarity than ever before. That can be scary at times, I get it. However, it propels us towards a more purposeful, emotionally balanced and happier life, both at work, and our relationships. 

But most pertienently, it helps facilitate a deeper confidence in ourselves and our ability to prosper in all areas of life.
